Our medical records are integrated with Novant Health's state of the art system. That means your current MyChart login will gain you access to your Family Healthcare of Lake Norman medical records. We will provide you a MyChart logon if you do not already have one! Call or email us and we will send you an activation code for you to gain access to your records and manage your health with the most up to date system available!


Novant's records are integrated with a large number of other medical entities such as Atrium.  You can share and have access to your medical records by going to your MyChart patient portal and choosing “Sharing” from the menu pull down.  Choose “Link My Account”. The tabs at top will allow you to see what medical facilities you are linked to and those you may “discover”.  Add the appropriate facilities to your open MyChart account.  The benefits for this are to give your providers better visibility on your health and allow you a one stop location to communicate and manage your own healthcare.


You will still need to use our website to pay outstanding bills.

You will need to establish a MyChart  patient portal account to: 


Video or E-visit . This service is limited to certain conditions and patient needs. We may collect a $75 deposit prior to the video visit based on our understanding of your insurance. We will bill your insurance and balance bill you based on your coverage. 


Make refill requests (After you have confirmed no refills are left on your prescriptions-please allow 2 business days for refills.) You may also request them directly thru your pharmacy,  


Review lab results and messages from the provider (please allow 7 business days for non-urgent reports)


Communicate directly with Dr. Winegardner via secure email (please allow 2 business days for a response) ,

and


See your medical records and communicate with other providers in the Novant Health systems!


Share your records .  The sharing of health records across regional health care systems is a good trend.  You may need to "allow" this inside your patient portal. 


Please do not use MyChart for urgent matters - go to the ER, make an appointment or call!
